The original Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game was released in 2017. This new one-time purchase app is packed with items and events that were released over the course of seven years. It keeps the general game play of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp without additional in-game purchases. As the manager of a campsite, you have the power to create a fun and exciting camping experience. Not only will you be responsible for managing the campsite, but you can also enjoy activities such as fishing, bug catching, and chatting with animals. You can even collect your favorite furniture to decorate your campsite and change into your favorite outfit to truly make it your own. With over 10,000 items to choose from, including tents, swings, lazy rivers, and merry-go-rounds, you can truly personalize your campsite to your liking.
But it's not just about decorating your campsite, you'll also have the opportunity to meet a variety of animals with unique personalities. These animals are curious about your campsite and you can choose one to be your camp caretaker, who will assist you in your duties. Take walks through the forest with your animal pal and gain inspiration for creating a lovely campsite.

There are also plenty of seasonal events to look forward to, such as Garden Events and Fishing Tourneys, as well as holidays like Halloween, Toy Day, Bunny Day, and the Summer Festival. These events offer the chance to collect seasonal items and add even more excitement to your camp life.
If you've played the original Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game, you can transfer your save data and continue playing in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. This feature will be available until June 2nd, 2025.

But that's not all, there are also new game play features added to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. You can now create a Camper Card to introduce yourself to other players and scan their cards for trading and collecting. There's also a new location called Whistle Pass where you can gather with other players and enjoy live music performances by K.K. Slider.
Participating in events will earn you Complete Tickets, which can be exchanged for limited-edition items or fortune cookies of your choice. And for even more customization options, you can scan Custom Designs from the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game for the Nintendo Switch and use them in the app.

While an online connection is not required, there may be temporary data communication for certain processes such as communicating with your Nintendo Account, updating the time, and downloading software updates. It's important to note that changing the time on your device may affect the functionality of some events. And if you delete the app, your save data will also be deleted.
